The Mill at Rock Creek offers a remarkable 14-acre farmland with various unique outdoor spaces: Rock Creek Falls, showcasing a tiered waterfall backdrop, Mountain Meadows, situated in a grass field with mountain views, and Garden View, surrounded by lush vegetation and a water feature. These picturesque settings guarantee an unforgettable experience for your special day.
Our venue offers four unique outdoor spaces, each with its own charm.
The Stone Patio is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and a flowing rock creek. It features a magnificent firepit, making it an enchanting spot for guests to gather and make cherished memories.
Rock Creek Falls is a picturesque location with a stunning tiered waterfall as its backdrop. The cascading waters create an unforgettable ambiance.
Mountain Meadows is a spacious outdoor space set in a lush grass field with majestic mountain vistas. It’s a serene and idyllic setting where guests can bask in the beauty of nature while celebrating your joyous occasion.
Garden View is a delightful outdoor space with vibrant foliage and a captivating water feature. The lush vegetation and tranquil backdrop create a romantic atmosphere, immersing guests in an oasis of natural beauty.

At The Mill, we offer the advantage of a beautiful main hall for indoor events, providing a stunning backdrop for incredible pictures. As part of our comprehensive planning process, a weather contingency plan will be developed during your 30-day detail meeting, and a final decision will be made on the morning of your event.
Being a venue with both indoor and outdoor spaces, we are well-prepared to handle any weather condition. Whether it’s rain, snow, or extreme heat, we have multiple contingency plans in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests. On the day of the event, our team will work closely with your wedding planner/coordinator to finalize the arrangements for any impending weather situations, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for everyone involved.
Bridal Suite & Groom's Lounge
The Mill offers two luxurious and meticulously designed bridal and groom’s rooms, perfect for the ultimate wedding experience.
The Mill provides a spacious area for the bride and bridesmaids, featuring a 3-way mirror, TV, vanity, hair and makeup station, private bathroom, and mini-fridge. The groom’s area includes a large lounge with a pool table, TV, private bathroom, and mini-fridge. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and accommodate the needs of all couples!
The Bridal Suite
The bridal room is a spacious and elegant space with a three-sided mirror, a large vanity, and a high-definition TV. There is also a stocked mini-fridge filled with delightful beverages and treats.
The Groom’s Lounge
The groom’s room is a sprawling and opulent space with a pool table, a widescreen TV, and a private bathroom. There is also a fully stocked mini-fridge to keep you refreshed and satisfied throughout the day.
Rentals
When you reserve your wedding or event at The Mill, you can leave behind the stress of planning. Our rental package offers a variety of conveniences, including customizable setup, two table shapes, a dance floor, two chair options, an ice machine, a caterer’s kitchen, a built-in bar with a kegerator, and a large projection screen with a sound system. Our venue is designed to make sharing your love story easy, with the ability to showcase home videos and slideshows that evoke cherished memories.
Location & Parking
Located within 5 miles of downtown Boone, The Mill at Rock Creek offers convenient access to the city’s attractions. From restaurants and shops to historical and cultural sites, there is no shortage of entertainment for your guests. Additionally, this proximity means that your loved ones won’t have to travel far to reach their accommodations after your event.
With a capacity to host gatherings of up to 250 people indoors or 280 people outdoors, The Mill at Rock Creek provides ample space for your special occasion. We also offer ample parking, making it easier for your guests to arrive at the venue without any hassle.

event indoors or outdoors, with multiple outdoor event
spaces to select from. The 4K projector with a 165-inch screen
provides a clear and crisp image for your presentations, and
the built-in audio system provides clear sound for your event.

I recently had my wedding at The Mill in April. I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue to have my wedding at. I had planned to have my wedding outside on the patio but with Boone weather I had to change it to inside the day before. The venue has so many different ceremony site options that are all beautiful that changing the location was no big deal! The Mill team was very helpful and professional throughout the wedding day and the months leading up to it. My wedding day was truly perfect and I couldn't have imagined hosting my wedding anywhere else!
